Handmade Soap and Metal Flowers

I dabbled in soap making back in 2008 and sold some soaps and candles in a couple shops when I lived in NY. Then I moved back to Inbredville, ND, and there weren't any places around this area where I could sell anything nice, so I quit making soap. Oh, I sold several bars to non-inbred friends around here, but I pretty much stopped. Lately, though, I've been making simple soaps to send to giveaway winners and swaps. This weekend, I decided to get back into soap making and am enjoying myself. I made this Honeysuckle Tangerine soap yesterday. Mmmm, it smells goooood.

Also made some "metal" flowers. They're so bright and cheery!

All I did was paint the tops of tuna cans and glued on some buttons. I think they turned out cute!

  1. Soooooo, my dear.... if someone wanted to buy some of your soap, how would that come about? Or perhaps you are just making it for fun. At any rate, looks lovely and I would love a whiff :) Vicki
