Spectacular, Incredible, OMG You Have to Be Kidding Kind of Giveaway!

Mandi from Vintage Revivals is having probably THE most spectacular giveaway known to blog-kind! Whaddya get? A whole room makeover. And it's not like Mandi and her incredible sponsors are gonna ship ya a couple cans of paint and call it a day. Nope, you get Mandi herself, bringing her mad DIY skillz, some moula, and some sponsor goodies to help you with your room rehab! See, I told ya it was a spectacular, incredible, OMG you have to be kidding kind of giveaway!

All the rooms in my house are in need since I live in Inbredville, ND. (Actually, Mandi, could you make over the whole town? If I win, I hope you and your sister don't mind visiting the set of Deliverance...er...my town).

Someone recently asked me what color my kitchen was, and I replied "Is 'ugly' a color?" So that's why, for this incredible room makeover giveaway, I decided on my eat in kitchen, which, as you can tell from this picture, isn't the place where we "eat in."

(Excuse the long johns draped over the chair near the portable heater on the floor. I took this pic last week when we had flooding in the basement, and the furnace went kaput. Since I have no washer and dryer, the long johns had to be draped over the chair near the portable heater. TMI? Well, at least now you know I don't make a habit of decorating with long johns. I may live in Inbredville, but I'm neither a native nor do I have a miniscule gene pool)!

I think the kitchen has great potential. When I originally moved here, I wanted to put fake brick along the sink area. The previous owners kinda had the right idea, but their version of brick is white peeling off plastic crap. (You can't really see it in the picture).

Anyway, the kitchen is so cluttered because I have very little in the way of storage, so it all got pushed under and around the table (which is my craft area). Ugh!
