My friends Christina over at The Tattered Tag and Amy at Me 'n My Thrifty Ideas has a new weekly challenge using three items. This week's challenge is to make something with a glass jar, craft wire, and scrapbook paper.
Luckily I already had a glass jar painted and textured; it just needed a little oomph. In comes some craft wire, or, more accurately, floral wire. I hope that's the same thing. It was my first time using it; it's sooo much fun that I'm definitely going to be using more of it.
I glued some scrapbook paper onto my version of cardstock (a cardboard cracker box), hooked the wire through the little squares and some buttons, and voila!
Go over and check their craft challenge out. This week's link up is being held at The Tattered Tag.

I'm crackin' up at "your version of cardstock!"...
ReplyDeletemostly because I've done the same thing many times... old file folders, cereal boxes, etc...

Maggie - I love decoupage, too!
ReplyDeleteNetta - LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one to use non-perishable trash in crafting. Gotta love those big family size Stouffer lasagna boxes! :)
that's super cute! Would make cute Christmas stocking stuffers (yes, I realize its only April, lol!)
